This morning I have had an unexpected trip to the denti$t. The anaesthetic is still wearing off so the receptors in my tongue are playing up a bit. I’m drinking chocolate milk through a straw and it tastes sweet on the unaffected side of my tongue and salty on the side that had the anaesthetic. Looks totally normal, though, don’t you think?
