Will we see you at ConQEST14?

Miss Vivi with bottle of bits and bag of eyes from Dissection Connection

Hey, hey, hey!  The program for ConQEST14 has been released!

A little tweet tells me that early bird registration for QEST members opens tomorrow, May 15.  Check out the QEST website for the squeal on the all the conference details.

This year we are giving 3 workshops.  Plucks are back by popular demand but this year the workshop will be run in small groups instead of by demonstration.  Miss Vivi will be running an ovary dissection session followed by Mr Vivi and his testes dissection where you will also get your hands on the live boar semen sample.

It’s going to be a blast, as usual.  Come along and let us get a look at you in the flesh!

Live online web classes with Fizzics Education

Live video conferencing science workshops for schools with Fizzics Education and Dissection Connection

Human Body Video Conference November 2013 from Fizzics Education on Vimeo.

Did you know that our partner Fizzics Education offer live online web classes?  Video conferencing is available for schools across Australia and around the world!

This is a highly cost effective option for remote and regional schools but it’s not a fancy version of the old ‘chalk and talk’.  Students get to run science experiments live during the video conference and teachers are provided with pre-workshop and post-workshop lessons to run.

Your kids will get all the benefit of a professional, interactive science event and with our new overnight satchel delivery option we can get specimens to you just about anywhere in Australia.

Pop over and have a look at all the gory bits on their website and while you are there check out the FREE resources they have for teachers.

Fizzics Education also currently deliver in-person science workshops into Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and also do Regional Visits.
